The premiere BTBbeats playlist features groovy tech-house gems inspired by the bringthebeats underground vibe. Artists include Tiger & Woods, Purple Disco Machine, Yuksek, Robosonic, Goldroom and Nhan Solo.

It feels like an entire lifetime went into compiling this playlist. I’ve definitely invested countless hours the past two-and-a-half decades fine-tuning my tastes to come up with this digital combination to bare the bringthebeats acronym for my newest music collection.

The BTB community was was inspired by the type of electronic mastery you hear in these tracks. It’s a methodical trek through sharp bass and crisp melodies. It’s the kind of music that inspires unison on the dance floor and accelerates energy to unfathomable levels. This is what it feels like when you’re in our underground.

Out of the dozens of playlists I’ve worked on preparing for the launch of barneysUNMIXEDtapes, this is the one I’ve probably invested the most into. It’s definitely the playlist I’ve listened to most. That was confirmed when Spotify crowned Robosonic’s “Ghet Ab” my most listened to track of 2019. It was no coincidence it’s a co-production with Purple Disco Machine, my most listened to artist of the same year.

The “Musique / U / Ghet Ab” combo are definitely the climax. However, I feel there’s excellent symmetry throughout the ascending three tracks before the peak and the three stellar grooves that close it out. Like I said off the top, I’ve spent many years trying to get this right. Thankfully, after all that attention, it feels to me, I did.
